Everycare (MK & Beds) Limited was founded by Terry Turner, Clive Barnes and Mark Claremont who have worked previously in a variety of different industries. It is their belief that modern management practices and their overriding belief in the quality of the service provided can be brought to the business of providing care. However recognising their own lack of experience in the area they chose to take out an Everycare franchise in order to provide the specific knowledge and back up that is required in such a challenging and regulated industry.
As integral parts of the team they recruited experienced professionals to act as their care manager and deputy care manager and backed this up with a skilled team of carers.
They chose to establish the head office in Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire as this is an area they have worked in and know well and where they saw there was unfulfilled demand. The head office in Milton Keynes is also ideal from a logistics perspective as both the city and the rural and urban areas within Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, North Buckinghamshire, South Northamptonshire and Hertfordshire can be easily serviced from the one location.
The business has also become responsible for North Hertfordshire and supplies agency staff to care homes in this area but is already looking to expand further.
Everycare’s aims &
objectives are to provide the highest quality of care services in line with
recognised Best Practice principles, the Care Standards Act (2000) and related
regulations and standards. These are supported by the Everycare head office in
Cardiff which provides support and training services to the company.
The service is designed to provide a comprehensive and flexible range of professional care services through a team of Health Care Assistants, Support Workers and Care Assistants; Everycare services enable those with a wide and varied range of health and social care needs to choose the type of service delivery that suits their individual needs with security and peace of mind.
Everycare operates a rigorous recruitment & selection procedure, followed by full induction training and regular staff supervisions & appraisals. All staff are employed directly by the organisation.
Everycare management recognises that it is one of their key responsibilities to ensure that Care Workers arrive at their assignments. To ensure reliability a manager is on call 24 hours a day in case of emergencies and enquiries.
